Overview

The Ticketbook system is an internet-based ticketing system specifically designed to integrate into your existing web site. This means that your customers will see the ticketing system wrapped inside your normal web site design / navigation rather than seeing another web site when they want to book. This integration is very simple to set up and full instructions are provided.

Different interfaces for different business types

Instead of a "one size fits all" approach, Ticketbook gives you the option of selecting the best interface to your events. For example:

• Live entertainment venues and independant cinemas would probably use the "What's On" interface which shows a list of events including time and date details, images and pricing in chronological order. Customers can click the event they are interested in and make a booking or just send you an enquiry.
• Tour operators will prefer to use the calendar interface. The calendar allows the customer to see what dates your tour is running (as well as details and prices) and whether there is availability. They can book or enquire from this page.
• Seminar and workshop operators may not need either of the above interfaces and instead can have a link that goes directly to the booking page.

You may use any or all of these interfaces as appropriate. The choice is yours.

Customers will follow a path on your web site depending upon which interface(s) you have chosen to use. The following diagram shows some of the possibilities.

Easy to setup, customise and maintain

Once you have a Ticketbook account you can quickly add your events using the Ticketbook Admin web site. From there you can also print the various reports that you need to monitor your bookings. You can also generate customer email lists or mail merge lists, etc.

Secure payments are deposited into your own account

Ticketbook is designed to work with the payment gateway of your choice. This means that when a customer books a ticket the money goes directly into your account, not via a Ticketbook bank account. Click here for a list of the supported gateways.

Use Ticketbook even where you dont accept online payments

If you dont have a payment gateway, you can still use Ticketbook to accept bookings. If you wish to have your customers email you their credit card details you can use our Encrypted Email option. Alternatively, you can receive the booking request and your customers can contact you to arrange payment.

Ticketbook fees and invoicing

• No setup cost (unless you have some very unusual requirements)
• No ongoing fees
• We charge between 1% and 3% of the GST inclusive total of the ticket sales on your Ticketbook system
• You will be invoiced on the first day of the month for the previous month's sales
• Remember that since your sales income is deposited directly into your account we cannot withhold any commission from your sales since we do not have access to your funds.
• Terms are 7 days from the date of invoice. Payment within the terms will ensure that your customers will be able to continue to use the Ticketbook system from your web site.
