Just follow these easy steps to get started. There is no charge to set it up or try it out. We only charge you when you make bookings.
The following steps are quite easy if you have a moderate amount of experience setting up your web site. Alternatively, you may wish to get your web designer to do it for you.

Use the Members login link to login to Ticketbook Admin. After you have logged in you can add your business contact details, add events, upload your images, set the event dates etc.
If your organisation does not yet have a payment gateway account, you will need to organise that. You do NOT need to do this if you only want to test the event management functionality of Ticketbook. If you want to set up a PayPal account, click here for detailed instructions.
If you do not wish to set up your payment gateway at this time, just continue with the following steps. There is a testing "dummy" payment gateway option in Ticketbook that simulates a payment gateway. ie you can enter made up credit card details and (obviously) no money is deducted.
Using the tool in Ticketbook Admin, generate the html links for the interface options you choose and paste those links into the appropriate places in your web site. Detailed instructions are found in Ticketbook Admin. We recommend that you add these links to a test page first (one that will not be found by your customers). Once you are happy that the system is operating as you want it, you can paste the links into your live pages. As soon as you do that, your customers will be able to book online.
Now you can see your events you can customise the style and layout and check that the integration with your web site is working as you want it. Using the tool in Ticketbook Admin, you can easily set the page styles (colours, fonts, sizes, etc) so that the Ticketbook pages match your web site.
Before you take the following step it is highly recommended that you test your payment gateway. To do that, you might want to create a test event that costs (say) $1.00 and then book and pay for it. You can pretend to be one of your customers and check that all is working as you wish.
test the method(s) that you have selected.
Once you are happy with the layout and operation of your Ticketbook system you can paste the links that are on your test page into your live pages. As soon as you do that, your customers will be able to book online.
